A knock is heard as Tinubu tells Nigerians to stop using Mercedes Benz, Lexus.

Bola Tinubu, the Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, again issued an inconsistent statement. 

According to Naija News reported that it has been almost two weeks since Tinubu compared “toxic communion” to climate change in an interactive session with the Kaduna State Arewa Council. 

Loans from the government of President Muhammadu Buhari should stop the use of Mercedes Benz and Lexus cars.

“I am proud to say that those who are afraid of the budget are thinking about credit,” he said. Yes, borrow. 

If borrowing is a crime, all of America should be in jail. Stop using Mercedes if credit is a crime, All of America should be imprisoned. If lending is a crime, stop using Mercedes-Benz and Lexus.”

This has left many Nigerians online confused about the connection between the use of certain brands of cars and worries about the country’s massive debt.
